As you will be aware any boat brough over from America need a CE registration test and certificate. This is because Europe has tougher safety and quality standards.

Without this mark the boat is illegal for use in European waters and it is also illegal to sell the boat on. You may also find that insurance companies in many cases will not pay out should your boat get damaged or destroyed and no CE certificate has been issued.

Typically boats will need a certain amount of modification to pass this, such as a battery isolator switch installing and re-positioning of the bilge pump however it is very rare they need any serious work doing.

All our boats are supplied with this vital document, but there may be a small surcharge for any work that needs doing. It is very rare for this work to exceed £500 but if it will then you will be contacted beforehand.
